Residential Architecture
Houses, duplexes and villas planned around light, air and the way your family lives.
Space Designers has designed homes in Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and across Uttar Pradesh since 1996. The studio was founded by Arun Kumar (B.Arch, M.Arch) and takes each house from the first site visit to the finished building.
We plan each house for its plot and its climate: orientation for the summer sun, cross-ventilation for the monsoon, shaded west walls and an insulated roof. If Vastu matters to your family, it shapes the plan from the first sketch rather than being patched in later.

Questions
Common questions
How much does a residential architect charge?
- The studio's indicative design fee for homes and row houses is ₹150 per square foot of built area, and ₹100 per square foot for 3D architectural design alone. The final fee depends on the size of the house and the scope you need, and is confirmed in a written proposal after the site visit.
Do you design Vastu-compliant houses?
- Yes. Entrances, kitchens, bedrooms and puja rooms are placed to the right directions under Vastu, balanced with daylight, ventilation and the constraints of your plot.
Which cities do you design houses in?
- The studio is in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur, and designs homes across Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and other cities in Uttar Pradesh.
